Our purpose in adopting this particular trail is, Soapstone’s Meaning, Volunteerism, Recovery, Meditation, Awareness Hikes, Trail Maintenance, Educational Sharing, History, Vegetation (Edibles, Plant Order, Eco Support), Rock Formation, Wildlife, Threats by Man (Erosion, Pollution, and Invasive Species).
Soapstone is commonly believed to have a soothing, balancing effect while creating a positive, calming energy. Soapstone is valued for the way it helps one prepare for changes in life. It is also thought to promote truth, logic as well as rational and creative thinking. Soapstone’s physical benefits are said to be balancing the digestive system, reducing irritation and skin rashes, sun burns and allergies.
Purple is the Color of the Trail Blazes which is also connected to our purpose!
Purple is associated spirituality, the sacred, higher self, passion, third eye, fulfillment, and vitality. Purple helps align oneself with the whole of the universe.

Substance abuse is a serious issue that touches us all. Supporting recovery is a loving way for you to help remove the stigma of addiction by increasing community awareness with accurate information. Mainstreaming will awaken community support to openly address this issue in homes, school, churches, and other public forums. Now is the time for the community to provide a safe supportive atmosphere for our children who are struggling with this disease.

Our mission is to awaken the community to its natural instinct to nuture and support teens. We encourage empthay, assistance and treatment for teens abusing substances and those afflicted with the disease of addiction. Utilizing education as a vhecile to eliminate teen and family apprehension in seeking assistance and treatment. This cultural change will stimulate and develop positive self-esteem enabling teens to focus on recovery with community support.
